Getting through Immigration and Customs was more challenging for Kathi than Laurie. Laurie seemed to breeze through everything. Kathi was stopped because she did not have her yellow fever immunization (can't get it when you are going through chemotherapy)....but, Laurie, who is in the exact same situation had no problem at all! They barely looked at her yellow card.
Ghana fingerprints each visitor. Kathi had to have my fingerprints done over and over and over again.... because she has NO fingerprints (thanks to the chemo, Xeloda). Immigration refused to give up saying, "PRESS HARDER! Press your fingers down HARDER!". The officer finally sighed and said, "Go. I think I have a couple fingers a little visible."
